On-Ramp/Dislocated Worker

Let Virginia Highlands Community College help you explore your options, upgrade your job skills and prepare for a new career. If you are a dislocated worker, financial assistance, advising, and career planning services are available to help you gain industry recognized noncredit credentials. 

The On-Ramp Grant Program is designed to help qualified individuals upgrade their job skills through a noncredit certificate program. Those who are unemployed, dislocated as the result of a recent layoff, or currently working part-time or in positions that provide little opportunity for growth are eligible to apply. Funding is provided on a first-come, first-served basis to those 18 and over who meet all eligibility requirements.
