Virginia Highlands Community College : Student Discounts

Receive student discounts with your VHCC student ID card.

Harry L. Coomes Recreation Center - Your VHCC student ID qualifies you for a special student discounted rate of $1.50 at Abingdon's Harry L. Coomes Recreation Center. You can enjoy swimming, tennis, weight lifting, basketball and a host of other physical activities. After 13 visits at this special discounted price, each VHCC student will receive seven free visits.

YMCA - Your VHCC student ID will qualify you for a special student discounted rate of $2.50 at the YMCA, YMCA Wellness Center and YMCA Outdoor Center.

HAND (Highlands Access to Neighborhood Discounts) - Save money when you present your VHCC student ID at participating businesses. - View the VHCC HAND Partners and Available Discounts.

VCCS Computing Discount Initiative Program - HP, DELL and Apple offer discounts to students, faculty and staff on computer purchases. In addition, these three companies will make a contribution to the Virginia Foundation for Community College Education each time a purchase is made by the VCCS Computing Discount Initiative Program.

VHCC Student ID cards are issued at no cost to all students who have registered and paid for one or more credits. Cards are available at the Library immediately after tuition has been paid or financial aid has been awarded. Cards are validated in the Library each semester at no cost to students. Replacement cards may be purchased for $5.
